Pamporovo, the sunniest mountain resort in Bulgaria, is situated in the heart of Rhodope Mountain, 260 km away from the capital Sofia, 85 km south of Plovdiv, 30 km from Devin and 15 km from Smolyan. The resort altitude is 1650 m and its highest peak Snejanka raises to an altitude of 1926 m.
